Opening ceremony of the new Fibertex ČR facility

Co-operation with the Danish company Fibertex A/S on its first big investment in Central and Eastern Europe reached its peak at the opening ceremony of the new facility for the production of unwoven textiles in the industrial zone in Svitavy, East Bohemia.STARCON acted as the general contractor for the whole building, including project preparation and project & cost management. This was the first time that the Flexible Development method was used in the Czech Republic in practice. Representatives of the majority owner of Fibertex, the industrial holding company SCHOUW & Co, expressed their maximum satisfaction with the quality of the whole building, especially given the very tight completion deadlines. STARCON will continue to provide Fibertex with facility management services and advice on the installation of new production technology.
